Anti-Money Laundering & KYC Policy
NexusVault ยท Effective date: July 5, 2026
NexusVault is committed to preventing its services from being used for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or any other financial crime. This Policy summarises the programme we operate.
1. Customer Identification (KYC)
Identity verification required before investing: No. Where required, every customer must complete Know-Your-Customer verification before accessing the relevant features:
- valid government-issued photo identification;
- proof of identity ownership (selfie / liveness checks where requested);
- additional documentation for higher-risk activity, at our discretion.
Accounts that fail or refuse verification may be restricted from depositing, investing, or withdrawing.
2. One Person, One Account
Each customer may hold a single account. We operate automated duplicate-account detection (matching email variants, devices, IP addresses, and phone numbers). Duplicate or shared accounts may be suspended and reviewed.
3. Transaction Monitoring
We monitor deposits, withdrawals, transfers, P2P trades, and referral activity for unusual patterns, including structuring, rapid pass-through of funds, and activity inconsistent with a customer's profile. Flagged activity may result in delayed processing, requests for further information, or account restriction while we review.
4. Sanctions & Prohibited Users
We do not knowingly provide services to persons subject to applicable sanctions, or to anyone using the Platform on behalf of such persons. We may block or terminate accounts, and freeze balances, where required by applicable sanctions law.
5. Prohibited Activity
The following are strictly prohibited and will result in account termination:
- depositing proceeds of crime or funds belonging to third parties without disclosure;
- using the Platform to layer, structure, or otherwise disguise the origin of funds;
- operating money-service activity through personal accounts;
- funding an account with stolen payment credentials or hacked wallets.
6. Reporting & Cooperation
We cooperate with law enforcement and regulators and may file reports of suspicious activity where required by applicable law, without notifying the customer where prohibited from doing so.
7. Record Keeping
Identification documents, transaction records, and review notes are retained for the period required by applicable regulations, even after account closure.
8. Staff & Governance
Administrative access to customer data is role-restricted and audit-logged. Compliance-relevant actions (KYC decisions, large withdrawals, account restrictions) are recorded with the acting administrator's identity.
